We offer several payment options to ensure our services remain accessible to all students and families. Note that a non-refundable $50 processing fee and a deposit will be applied at the time of registration. The $50 fee is waived for families who chose to pay in 1 installment.

Option 1: Pay the entire balance at the time of registration.
Option 2: Payment in two installments
$50 processing fees + $ 500 deposit + 25% of tuition due at the date of registration
The remaining 50% is due 45 days before the date of departure.
Option 3: Monthly Payments Plan
$50 processing fees+ $500 deposit due at the date of registration
Month 2: 25% of the remainder balance amount
Month 3: 25% of the remainder balance amount
Month 4: 25% of the remainder balance amount
The entire trip must be paid in full 45 days before the date of departure!
En Route offers its services at no charge for teachers if the minimum of participants is attained (16). Additional adult chaperones will receive a 25% discount. In the case the minimum number of participants is not reached, teachers will receive 25% off. Chaperons will be asked to pay the full price.
Return Checks and Late Payment Fees:
The return of a check (electronic or paper) will result in a $25 returned check fee for each returned check, irrespective of the reason. Written notification on how to resolve the returned check will be sent to the signatory of the check. A hold will be placed on the account affected, until the returned check has been redeemed.
If the returned check has not been redeemed within the regular time frame on the notification, late fees as stated below will be applied from the initial due date on.
Payments that are more than two weeks late carry an additional $25 late fee per month. A payment is considered late if less than the respective amount of the 4-installment option is received more than one week after the respectively indicated due date. If the full balance is not paid 45 days prior to the departure date, participants won’t be able to travel and will lose their $500 deposit.
Cancellation policy and refunds:
En Route reserves the right to cancel any trip for any reason, including insufficient enrollment. En Route is not responsible for expenses incurred by participants in preparing for a canceled trip, including, but not limited to, nonrefundable airline tickets, passport fees, travel insurance etc. In the rare event that En Route must cancel a trip, all participants will be notified a minimum of 45 days before the trip departs and will receive a full refund of payments made to En Route.
Cancellation before departure by participants:
Due to the nature of our operation and all the partners involved in organizing each trip, we cannot accept cancellations for any reason occurring later than 60 days to the date of departure and you will forfeit all sums paid. If a cancellation occurs prior to 60 before the date of departure, you will receive a full refund, but the $500 security deposit will be retained. In the case you must cancel your trip, send an email to office@enroute-education.org with the subject Cancellation. Note that the refund processing time may take up to 10 weeks.

No refund will be issued after the start of the program.

Travel documentation:

Sign and return all forms of the En Route CaribEducation travel packet within the designated timeline usually within 30 days of registration.

Each participant must possess a valid passport for travel for 6 months following the Program return date.

Each participant must be in possession of a valid visa, if necessary. For the United States, an ESTA is required.

All the forms must be submitted on time.

Proof of third-party travel insurance must be received within 60 days of registration.
It is the responsibility of participants to apply for their travel documentation alongside competent instances. En Route advises participants to start the application process at least 6 months prior to the date of departure to ensure travel documentation will be received on time.
En Route may request additional required documents to confirm participant eligibility at any time. Furthermore, En Route reserves the right to cancel the trip of participants who won’t be in regulation with the travel documentation policy within 60 days of the date of departure. In such cases, no refund will be issued.

What's Included and Not:
All-inclusive formula with airfare, all meals, activities in the itinerary, lessons, and transportation in the country are included. En Route CaribEducation is not responsible for expenses incurred by participants in preparing for their trip, including, but not limited to, passport & visa fees, travel insurance, etc. Furthermore, En Route is not responsible for activities that are not included in the itinerary. You can make changes to the program until the signature of the program agreement. After this, any amendments made may result in a change to the original price. Participants are also encouraged to bring pocket money for the purchase of gifts or souvenirs. Currency must be changed before the date of departure.
The cost of $2,400 will depend on the city of departure and dates. For example, trips from NYC or Miami in October or January will be within this range. However, if your group is from California and wish to travel in June, prices will be higher. We invite you to contact us directly for a quote and to search when airlines offer the best deals.
Travel Interruption:
In the event that a trip interruption occurs due to circumstances that are out of our control, no refund will be issued.

Travel insurance policy:
To participate in a trip with En Route, each participant must purchase a travel insurance policy through a third party within 60 days of registration. If participants cannot provide proof of travel insurance, they will infringe the En Route CaribEducation travel documentation policy and will be disenrolled.

Participant code of conduct:
It Is important that participants follow rules and guidelines to ensure that everybody has a great experience. Hence, all participants are required to sign a behavior agreement before departure. If during the trip a participant lacks to follow the code of conduct, the latter will not participate in activities and will remain at the hotel with En Route staff. The participant will also be prevented from attending any En Route programs in the future.
The use of alcohol/drugs is strictly forbidden during the entire trip.
En Route is not responsible for the loss or deterioration of personal belongings as but not limited to cell phones, money, cameras, laptops, etc.

Health and Safety:
En Route is committed to providing memorable fun experiences for its participants and keeping them safe. In this regard, we follow the travel recommendation of the U.S Department of State before planning any trips. Our groups stay in secured lodging facilities with an En Route staff present 24/7. In the case of a medical emergency, our staff members are trained in First Aid CPR, and we have a medical professional on call. Note that neither our medical professionals nor En Route staff are allowed or encouraged to diagnose, prescribe, or administer medications. Make sure to complete our medical release form needed in case of emergencies.
All staff members received the En Route emergency & crisis management training that will equip them to respond quickly and adequately to emergency situations. In the case that medical treatment must be administered in the visiting country, En Route will not be financially responsible for any costs associated with the treatment received. That is the reason why we ask all participants to always have their travel insurance policy card with them during the trip.
En Route also reserves the right to refuse applicants who provide false information about their health, do not complete or turn in the health form within the designated time. It is crucial that the health form be completed accurately with the most recent information available.
En Route aims to be inclusive and to provide reasonable accommodation, when possible, but we ask participants to keep in mind that these trips are usually intense and that adequate infrastructure may be lacking in some destinations. En Route cannot be responsible for accommodating any food allergies or restrictions. All issues regarding food, including allergies, and restrictions are the responsibility of the participant. If reasonable accommodations can’t be made due to infrastructure in the country or for any other reason, En Route reserves the right to not enroll a participant.
