Learning that happens
beyond the classroom.
Curriculum-aligned educational programs across the Caribbean and the United States — designed with teachers, built for students, handled end-to-end.
PROGRAMS BY LEVEL
Find the right program for your group.
Every program is built around your school's goals. Tell us your grade level, subject focus, destination, and travel window — we design the rest.
Middle School Grades 6 - 8
Discovery Trips to the Caribbean & the U.S.
Ages 11-15 8 to 10 days
For many students, this is the first time they experience a world outside of a textbook — a French-speaking island, an unfamiliar cuisine, a conversation with someone their age who grew up completely differently. Our middle school programs are designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and connect directly to what students are already learning in class.
SAMPLE THEMES BY DESTINATION
Guadeloupe - nature & culture
Martinique - history & French immersion
Miami - Caribbean diaspora & arts
Washington D.C. - civic discovery
Themes are examples — every itinerary is built around your specific learning goals.
French or English immersion
Depending on the destination, students can practice French or English in authentic, real-life settings — building confidence far faster than in class.
Science & nature exploration
Volcanic landscapes, tropical rainforests, and coral reefs become hands-on science labs. Ideal for Earth science, biology, and environmental units.
Cultural exchange
Structured activities with local students and community members. Students return with a broader sense of the world — and lasting friendships.
Safe & supervised travel
Strict supervision ratios, vetted accommodations, 24/7 emergency support, and dedicated on-site staff throughout the entire trip.

WHY EN ROUTE CARIBEDUCATION
We take care of everything — so you can focus on your students.
From planning to on-site support, we handle the details that make school travel easier, safer and more meaningful.

01
We know our destinations from the inside
Our team is Caribbean-rooted with deep local connections across Guadeloupe, Martinique, Saint Martin and Dominica — and a Washington D.C. base for U.S. programs. We don't work with generic tour operators; we work with the communities themselves.
04
We handle
every detail
Flights, hotels, meals, activities, local transportation, guides, and insurance — all managed by us. You show up; we take care of the rest.
02
We design around your curriculum
Every itinerary is built from your learning objectives, not a pre-set menu. Whether you teach French, environmental science, world history, or indigenous studies — we make the trip serve your class and your standards.
05
We don't just organize the trip, we travel with you
An En Route team member accompanies your group throughout the journey, ensuring smooth coordination, local expertise, immediate support and peace of mind for educators and participants alike.
03
We make
approval easy
We provide the documentation you need to convince your administration and reassure parents — learning objectives, safety protocols, parent Q&A, and a ready-to-submit program rationale.
06
We go beyond
tourism
Our programs are built on authentic connections — with people, history, and places that most tourists never reach. Students return with a richer understanding of the world, and of themselves.
SAFETY & RELIABILITY
Everything in place before you even pack.
We know that saying "yes" to a school trip means putting your name on it. Every parent question, every administrator concern, every what-if scenario — we've anticipated them, and we have protocols in place. Here's exactly what we do so that you can travel with confidence.
Supervision & staffing
Every group travels with a dedicated En Route staff member present on-site throughout the entire program — not just on call
○ Strict adult-to-student ratios, adapted by age group
○ 24/7 emergency contact line, active from departure to return
○ Coordination with school chaperones throughout the trip
Emergency Protocols
We don't improvise in emergencies. Every program comes with a written emergency response plan shared with school coordinators in advance.
○ Written medical & safety protocol per destination
○ Emergency contacts for parents, school, and local authorities
○ Partnerships with trusted local healthcare providers
○ Pre-trip health forms collected from all students
Insurance & Compliance
All programs include comprehensive group travel insurance, and our operations comply with U.S. and French educational travel regulations.
○ Group travel insurance included in all program pricing
○ Medical evacuation coverage for all destinations

THE PROCESS
From first conversation to departure day.
Planning a school trip shouldn't feel like a second job. Here's how we work with you from initial inquiry to the moment your group lands back home.
01
Tell us about your group
Grade level, subject focus, destination interest, approximate dates, group size, and budget. A 20-minute call is usually all it takes.
02
We build your proposal
You receive a custom itinerary with learning objectives, pricing, daily activities, and all documentation for school approval.
03
We handle everything
Once approved, we book flights, accommodations, activities, meals, and local transport. We manage every vendor so you don't have to.
04
We travel with you
Our on-site team meets you on arrival and stays with the group throughout. You focus on your students — we focus on the logistics.
